so sierra comed home from skool today n she have nother note from nurse sayin she probly haves asma!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it say on note that she need to lose wait!!!!!!!! the nurse call me later n say that sierra need to cut back on smokeing a lill bit n it might helps!!!!! i start freekin out n yellin @ sierra cause i not no how she got asma!!!!! i have no moneys for doc visit so i guess we have to try n get here thru this somehows,,,,,,,,,what shood i do??????

How can I reduce or remove knockdown drywall texture?

The texture you have now is probably nothing more than drywall mud or plaster applied with a trowel and "knocked down" to create a texture. You can simply take drywall mud and apply a skim coat over the top with a wide drywall knife to get a relatively smooth surface. After it dries, you could also create your own texture by apply small blobs of drywall, evenly spaced, and then run over them with a flat trowel. The advantage in retexturing is that you don't have to get the skim coat perfectly smooth. If you do want a smooth surface, you can still do it, but expect a lot of sanding of the skim coat(s). Either way, then prime and paint.

How do I fix the broken string on my blinds?

The cord (to pull the blinds up & down) snapped on my blinds. The cord was comprised of 2 strings with a small plastic piece at the end. While I was letting my blinds down the cord snapped & 1 of the strings went up into the top part of the blinds (which is covered by plastic). Is there anyway to fix this? Currently my blind is in the down position but I am unable to pull the blind up. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
