How do I compress a music folder to send to friends?

Hi. I'm a musician. I have 9 songs in a folder (this comprises a single album) that I'd like to send over email to friends. Can someone tell me how to do this? I have a yahoo and hotmail account that allow for 10MB of attachment data, which works out to essentially 2 songs per email message, but I'd like to send the entire album out at once (all 9 songs). Boy, I sure could use some help on this (kinda outa touch with technology...a bit...definitely...yeah). Thanks in advance...
