How can I reduce or remove knockdown drywall texture?

The texture you have now is probably nothing more than drywall mud or plaster applied with a trowel and "knocked down" to create a texture. You can simply take drywall mud and apply a skim coat over the top with a wide drywall knife to get a relatively smooth surface. After it dries, you could also create your own texture by apply small blobs of drywall, evenly spaced, and then run over them with a flat trowel. The advantage in retexturing is that you don't have to get the skim coat perfectly smooth. If you do want a smooth surface, you can still do it, but expect a lot of sanding of the skim coat(s). Either way, then prime and paint.

Where can i get a 7 spline lug nut key?

You can try going to a tire shop and having them remove the lug. They usually have a bunch of different keys so they can unlock any wheel. After they remove it put on your own lug. If you cannot find a key that fits and you need to remove it there are a couple of ways to get them off. You can actually break the wheel studs, this can be done with a bar and a big hammer. Place the bar on the lug and swing away. The problem is they you have to replace the studs. Another method is to plug weld a nut to the lug and then you can unbolt them.

I am feeling a lot of pressure that comes along with high school, my age, and the weight of the future that I am soon about to enter. I know that I am an individual that is capable of succeeding in life, but I second guess those thoughts as being thoughts shoved in my head by the media and such. There is a side of me that makes me feel I lack self worth, intelligence, beauty, confidence, and I can never achieve success. I overall just feel unsatisfied and unhappy with myself, and I want that to change. Some of these feelings are derived from teen magazines and when I do my college searching. I admit that I read Seventeen and Teen Vogue who use people who appear to have the perfect lives as their cover people. It's like how do I or other girls compete? Those magazines try to use people who are good role models for the young generation. These cover peoples' lives are so unrealistically perfect for normal teens, how is it possible to achieve or to even relate to those lives. Maybe I should stop reading those magazines, but really, teens are completely surrounded in those images and ideas, there is no escape. So to help me rid these ideas, I am trying to find a good book to help me cope with these negative feelings, but all I have found are books for parents. Are there any good self help books for teens? Why didn't i trip off of smoking salvia?

for the first time today me and a couple friends smoked some salvia. we smoked it out of a gl bowl. when it was my turn i inhaled deeply sucking in a couple times and help the smoke in like you should. i exhaled and the only thing that happened was everything was hilarious and things kind of started to vibrate and shake for a couple seconds and i sorta felt like my body was heavy and i was too heavy to stand up, the feeling was kinda vague though. everything i felt from the inhale was pretty vague. when i felt more normal i took another hit of the salvia and the only thing that happened was i felt like i was slightly high, like from smoking a little weed. afterwards when it wore off again i just got immensely angry and irritated for no apparent reason, when the anger finally went away i just had a deep sadness. i had no trip or hillusonations like the other 3 people i smoked with did. they all had intense trips. does anyone know why i didn't trip and was just left emotionally unstable for the rest of the day?

Thanks everybody for reading, my question is what will happen if the mother of my son doesn't follow the court order. I was granted 50/50 last yr in september. She makes more money than me therefore she is entitled to pay me 389 a month and the judge asked if she is paying any daycare. At that time she was on public istant, so she only paid 177 but she told the judge that she's paying 600. The judge split that 600 in half and she would still owe me 89 dollars. but I told the judge to drop the child support and have her pay the full amount of the day care. Now that she no longer qualified for the public istant(and it's still not 600 dollars that she told the judge. it's 500 instead, so basically she's been lying to the judge all these time), she wanted me to half it with her if not she will pull our son out of the daycare. Do you have to wear mascara at all? If it's that big of a deal just dont wear it. Water proof mascara is horrible for your lashes, and the glue for the falsies aren't good for your lash line either. I reccommend regular mascara all the way and right before you take a dip in the pool remove your eye make with this really great remover i have, its compact for travel, it'll fit in a beach bag for sure. Plus falsies look fake, and make your over all appearance decline in value. The more natural the better

I need to get over depression.?

I've been depressed once before but summer vacation relaxation recovered me. But this year has made me depressed again. I've been cutting. I've read some things saying I should go and hang out with friends but my parents don't allow me most of the time but hanging out with my friends is the only thing that distracts me from how depressed I am. Pro Tools LE 7.4.3 for Mac Leopard?

I've been using an MBox 2 with Pro Tools LE Version 7.0 on my Mac Book Pro with Mac OS X Tiger. I recently had my laptop stolen and got a new Mac Book Pro but this time with the latest Leopard on it. My Version of pro tools didn't work and was told I had to wait until the new ProTools 7.4.3 version came out as that was the only version that would work. Now it has and I've downloaded it my original authorization code doesn't work with it. Digidesign have just told me that I need to buy Pro Tools version 7.4 again then up date it to 7.4.3 and I'll get a new authorization code and software package. Is this true? Does anyone know anything about this as it seems a bit unfair that I'd have to buy a new version of software that I already have just cos I have a new computer. ANY HELP?????!!!!!!

Is American Express violating the Credit CARD Act?

I've got two AmEx cards, one Green and one Blue. I receive paper statements for both cards. Statements for the Blue card are received in accordance with the Credit CARD Act and the due date is the same date every month. My Green card, however, does not seem to be in "compliance". For example, tonight I checked my balances online. My green card showed that the billing period closed on 5th (it normally closes on the 7th) and that the due date for my "outstanding" balance (the balance being all transactions during the recently closed period, I don't carry a "normal" balance on this card) was the 19th (and the due date is usually the 21st). Given these dates, I only have 14 days from the closing of one billing period to pay my balance. Knowing that I receive paper statements, there's no way that AmEx is able to mail a statement 21 days prior to the due date. Do I have any recourse or is there some sort of exemption for this particular card?

I have my python and like a previous poster I would swear by it. I use it on both my fresh and salt water tanks. (Different size syphoning tubes but the same hose) Like you I don't want to leave my tap running to "suction" the water, so I use it to water the plants and gr outside my home by running the hose right out the front door and draining the tank out that way. To refill the tanks however this is a godsend. Saves me running buckets around the house, and spilling water everywhere. Or even having to fill them 1 cup at a time :( (If you have a sw tank remember to mix your salt outside the tank! I mix mine in a bucket beside the tank)

I have been having "contractions" for the past week. They have been irregular. Ranging from pretty painful to slight twinges randomly. I have also noticed a watery, thin discharge. Today I have also noticed that my belly looks smaller. He has still been moving. Decidual bleeding or miscarriage?

I am 6 weeks pregnant (found out a week ago) This is my 3rd pregnancy, my other two ended in healthy deliveries. This morning, after with the hubby (nothing too vigorous!), I spotted a little after I peed, I was a little bit worried, but thought it was due to . I peed again a little later and more bleeding, no big clots, but heavier. I have no bleeding until I pee, even if I walk around, and its as heavy as a period, but without the clots and absolutely no cramping. Went to the walk in, and they gave me a preg test and I was still pregnant (I am skeptical because im sure your hormones still linger for awhile if your miscarrying) I don't kow what to think at this point. I expect a miscarriage to come with alot of pain and cramping which I don't have. I have heavy enough bleeding to think I am miscarrying though, but then I read something on decidual bleeding. I hear it happens in about 30% of women in their 1st trimester and close to there expected period date and had I not been pregnant I would expect my period around now but I also hear It can mimick an actual period. How to help my cat after spaying?!?

Okay i picked up my 11 mnth old cat from the vet this afternoon after being sayed and she was tired but she slept for a few hours on and off when we got home...a little later she started vomiting white foam, just the white foam, no food because she hasnt eaten (i know it is normal for her not to eat OR drink after just arriving home.. i also gave her small amounts of water in a syringe just so she doesnt become dehydrated and she swallowed them just fine.) She was of course given a pain reliever before leaving the vet ( i dont know what ) and the vet said it would wear off soon. They asked me if i wanted to purchase additional pain reliever fr at home BUT i wasnt aware it was going to cost me and i didnt have the money right now. its now very late at night and she has been just laying down i want to know what i can give her for pain because im guessing what she was given at the vet probably wore off by now but im not sure because i know cats can hide their pain very well....
