URGENT-Fire Belly Toad Setup?

Hello! Right now I have my Fire Belly Toad set up as mainly land with a nice big water dish. I was thinking about making it be a little more aquatic. How would I go about doing that? Because I no longer want to have a water dish. I heard you can silicone a 2 inch peice of plexi-gl to the bottom and fill one part with water. Will that work? It's urgent because I need to know before tomorrow!
