Do you hate being told you're incorrect when you know you're right?

My friend and I started bickering because she bought into the popular myth that your eye color changes with your mood. I told her that this is not the case since humans have no mechanism in the eyes that allows for the iris to change color and that the only reason your eyes appear to change color are because of the way light is reflecting from your eyes at any given time, tearing up, pupil dilation, angle of the head (looking up down or to the side) and the clothing you wear will have an effect on the way people perceive your eye color. The only way it could happen is from aging. After awhile, we just dropped the argument as it wasn't really anything worth arguing about, but it still infuriates me to no end being told I'm wrong when I know I'm right and have the proof to back it up. What about you? What instances have you been in where you know you are right, but others refuse to see the truth?
