Girls if a guy told you he liked you .... but?

i've know this girl for 7 weeks now ... over a month ... and i like her a lot but i don't think its a good idea to tell her ... i dont wanna seem desperate or just seem like the type of guy to get it in and leave ... i like her a lot but i dont know how to tell her ... if i told u girls straight up that i liked you and wanted to be ur boyfriend .. how would u react?
