What will happen to "America" if spend & tax Democrats control Congress & Obama's in the White House?

Who will balance welfare, spending entitlements and taxation of anyone who does have any money? Will we see 60% taxes like in Canada, Scandanavia and Europe? What will preserve the American spirit and dream to create, work every waking hour and risk everything to build a company, solve a problem, or bring an invention to market?
