A seems like a good answer, but B also sounds right; they are essentially saying the same thing, unless there is some small detail I'm overlooking that makes one "more right." Definitely not C or D. Maybe it is B, because water technically enters a cell by osmosis (diffusion of water through a selectively permeable membrane).
