Cracks in my firebox!!?

call a mason and tell him whats wrong...he should be able to point the cracks with some fireclay . i would charge about 250.00 if i did it...fireclay sets with heat so wait a day and fire it up...a few cracks in the firebox shouldnt burn the house down as there is nothing but masonry surrounding the back of the box...
