Should I just call it quits with her?

Well I was talking to this girl I've been into for a while and she subtly suggested hanging out, so I took the initiative and asked her if she was free this weekend, well she said she was grounded and she'll see if she could get out of it and hang out on Sunday. So I didn't hear from her that weekend so I figured she was grounded and couldn't hang out, thats fine. So today in school I overheard her talking about how her friends were over her house one day, I don't know what day it was but I think her being grounded was just an excuse. I kind of feel crappy right now.
